On April 16th, 2025, Ethiopian government recently finalized the acquisition of 200 Isuzu FTR firefighting trucks, a strategic initiative to bolster national disaster response capabilities. Designed for urban and industrial fire suppression, these vehicles feature advanced firefighting apparatus, including high-capacity water pumps (3,000–4,000 liters/minute), integrated foam systems, and extendable ladders reaching up to 30 meters.
